Tonights dinner conversation, and the previously unknown evils of red bull

Tonight i endured what no person should ever have to endure: A random sex talk over dinner alone with my parents. It was as I promptly told my parents when they were done talking, near to if not at the top of my list of most awkward conversations. I was cornered. The words "cherished" and "special" were repeatedly flung at me from right where my mother was seated, referring to virginity in general, while on my left, my father made reference to hormone crazed teenagers "drinking red bull and jumping in the sack with whoever..." One more of the often hilarious and somehow incorrect statements of my father that I will probably never forget. I think the whole thing ended with the assertion above,(about the awkwardness) followed by something like, "well I guess youre good parents for giving me this *cringe* sex talk... so thanks...well, see ya later" and finally me dashing out of the room. But after having lived through this at least I can offer others some advice on the matter. You too could get cornered by your parent(s) for a suprise sex talk anywhere, anytime; whether the place be in the car(a long-time favorite of my mothers- oh yes, i ve had more than one sex talk before)or the time be dinner time, never be foolish enough to think you are safe from your parents' parental instincts. And if you are so unfortunate to be ambushed and lectured in this way, just remeber: theyre not doing it just because they like to embarrass you and make you feel way awkward, its also because they love you.
